Siding Installation using pump jack

1)They mark on the walls to make sure every siding is plumb.

(Trying to make sure the line is plumb-  The line is already on the long stick, so he simply plots dots on the walls)

2) After they are done with  marking on the wall, the draw a line using a string.

3) Then, they install the sidings using air compressor nail guns. 

[Architecture] 8 HOUSE by BIG

 I was pretty interested in 8 HOUSE having a unique design concept. This building was designed by an architect group BIG. The following paragraph and pictures are from their website.

8 HOUSE is located in Southern Orestd on the edge of the Copenhagen Canal and with a view of the open spaces of Kalvebod Faelled. It is a big house in the literal sense of the word. A house offering homes in all its bearings for people in all of life’s stages: young an old, nuclear families and singles, families that grow and families that become smaller. The bow-shaped building creates two distinct spaces, separated by the counter of the bow which hosts the communal facilities of 500m^2. At the very same spot the building is penetrated by a 9 meter wide passage that connects the two surrounding city spaces: The park area to the west and the channel area to the east.
